The Vehicle Emission Control Label is located under the hood of your car and will help you identify the type of emissions that your vehicle came equipped with from the factory.
Below you will find two examples of Vehicle Emission Control Labels showing EPA Federal application and EPA Federal and California applications. If the label on your car references both EPA and California then your car is equipped with California Emissions. If the label only references EPA application then the vehicle is considered Federal Emissions. Of course the vehicle year and engine size will be specific for your vehicle.
